Hector Olivera – 2005
Hector Olivera is closing his December, 2005 concert on the four manual, custom Rodgers Organ with 39 ranks of pipes at Sligo Seventh Day Adventist Church in Takoma Park, Maryland. Specifications of this organ can be found under the Featured Installations section.
Berj Zamkochian – 2001
The late Berj Zamkochian is heard playing a movement from the Armenian Organ Mass on the new Rodgers organ we installed in 2001 at the Cathedral of Saint Gregory the Illuminator in Yerevan, Armenia.
James Dale – 1992
In 1992, the Naval Academy Chapel leased a Rodgers Organ from R.A. Daffer Church Organs while the Moller pipe organ was being renovated. Organist James Dale (1947-1995) made this recording on the Rodgers Organ in the Chapel.
Harry Sterling – 1977
In 1972, Oxon Hill Lutheran Church became the first church to install a combination Rodgers/Ruffatti combination organ. This recording features organist Harry Sterling from his LP “Heraldings”, cut in 1977.
Virgil Fox – 1976
This unreleased, live recording made by Virgil Fox on September 19, 1976 on the Royal V Rodgers Touring organ was given to us by the late Ted Alan Worth. He performs Bach’s Fugue a la Gigue before an audience of about 6,000 in San Francisco.
Richard Purvis – 1969
Richard Purvis (1913-1994)is heard playing a Rodgers that was installed at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco, during their pipe organ renovation in 1969. He is playing his composition “Les Petites Cloches”.
