Back by popular demand, Mark Hurley will reprise last year’s casualconcert (casual dress is welcome, ofcourse!) of Christmas favorites on Saint Matthew’s Rodgers 805C organ, with theRodgers MX-200 MIDI module.  Thiscombination will bring back memories of the sounds of the “Mighty Wurlitzer”through Rodger’s digital wizardry. The Church’s new Roland digital piano will also be part of the program.  Join us to get into the “holiday mood.”  Refreshments and fellowship will followin the Church’s social hall.  A free-will offering will be taken to helpsupport the Church’s Luther League’s (Youth Group) trip to the July 2009 ELCAYouth Gathering in New Orleans. Louisiana.

Mr. Hurley hasbeen part of the Saint Matthew family since March 1997.  He serves the Church as its organistand accompanist to the choir.

A church organist since theage of fifteen, Mark has served several Churches in the Baltimore area over theyears in the capacity of organist and choir director.  A graduate of Towson University with a Bachelor’s degree inmusic education, he studied with the late John Hoffman and while there,appeared as accompanist to several choral ensembles.  He has also performed for several theatre organ groups,including the Free State Theater Organ Society.  Join us for an afternoon offun.
