Rodgers celebrates 40 years as the house organ of New York's Carnegie Hall. The inaugural concert, by Virgil Fox, was October 1, 1974. The original, five manual console that he designed for Carnegie Hall is on display at the Rodgers factory in Hillsboro, Oregon. Today, Carnegie Hall has a Rodgers three manual organ.
