Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator, Yerevan, Armenia - 2001 -
Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator, Yerevan, Armenia - 2001
Dave Yoder, chief organ technician for our company, flew over to Armenia to supervise the delievery and installation of all the equipment. Here the organ console is prepared for hoisting into the balcony.
Up it goes!
The Rodgers Trillium 967 console arrives safely in the balcony.
The blessing of the Holy Chrism at the outdoor shrine was accompanied by a Rodgers Insignia 525.

The Cathedral of St. Gregory the Illuminator was built to honor the 1700th anniversary of the proclamation of Christianity as a state religion in Armenia. The dedication of the new building took place on September 23, 2001. The Rodgers Trillium 967 was made possible through the hard work and generosity of the late Berj Zamkochian. The organ can be heard in our Media section.
